Day 1 Arrival in Colombo – Negombo | Beautiful Beach Destination

  • Arrive to Colombo International Airport.

  • Negombo is a gourmet’s paradise with sea food in plenty.
  • Old world fishing craft like the outrigger canoe and the catamaran bring seer, skipjack, herring and mullet, pomfret & amber jack, while lobster & prawn are caught in the lagoon.

Day 2 Negombo – Anuradhapura | The 1st Kingdom of Sri Lanka

Day 3 Anuradhapura – Polonnaruwa | The 2nd Kingdom of Sri Lanka

  • This ancient city is today one of the most beautiful centers of this island’s cultural heritage.
  • In its prime, the city, inside its 3½ miles strong encircling walls, housed hundreds of thousands of people.

Day 4 Sigiriya | The Lion Kingdom, UNESCO Heritage

  • You will explore climbing to 1200 steps in Sigiriya Rock fortress early in the morning.
  • Sigiriya, One of Sri Lanka’s most fascinating UNESCO world heritage sites.
  • No matter how often you climb to the summit of this one-time hilltop fortress of the maverick Sinhalese king, Kassapa, the pleasure barely diminishes because of the abandon spectacular views at the summit.
  • Visit Pidurangala Rock temple, Pidurangala is an ancient Buddhist temple, built on a massive rock, located five minutes away from Sigiriya Rock fortress.

Day 5 Sigiriya – Kandy | The Last Kingdom of Sri Lanka

  • On your way you will stop at Dambulla to visit Golden Temple and Largest Cave temple complex in Sri Lanka.
  • Golden Rock is a cave temple which dates back to the 1st Century .BC.
  • Its rock ceiling is one large sweep of colorful frescoes which depict Buddhist mythology and the tales of the Buddha’s previous births. The caves house the largest collection of Buddha statues in one place.
  • You will proceed your journey to Kandy.
  • En-route you will stop to visit the Ayurveda Herbal and spice garden.
  • On your arrival to Kandy you will visit Sri Dalanda Maligawa also known as ‘Temple of the Sacred Tooth Relic’.
  • Kandy, The city was the last capital of the Sri Lankan kings, and today is a World Heritage Site.
  • You can watch a Kandyan devil and fire dance show in the evening.

Day 6Kandy – Colombo City | The Commercial Capital of Sri Lanka
